Most of this is dictated from a voice message I left to myself after the OBE.
I had a short OBE last night, lasting about a half hour I think. I went to bed before 9 PM and I attempted for a long time. I felt close within the first hour and I almost went into sleep paralysis, but I kept snapping out of it. My stomach would feel heavy or my head would feel heavy, but I wasn't feeling vibration like I usually do. It was just a different experience than usual and I never found the right moment to try exit. There were a few times when I would think I was close to sleep paralysis and my breathing would get really shallow, but then I would gasp or take in a breath involuntarily. Then I would try to focus on something other than my breath and it was a cycle, but I was digging in my heels and I was not moving. I finally decided to take a break and when I looked at the clock it was around 11:40 PM.
After a reset I went on my side and slept a bit. I woke up around 2 AM and decided to try again. I kept rehearsing and I was pretty tired, but I do remember exiting probably because I had rehearsed so much and had a strong intention. It wasn't as forceful of an effort as the previous two times. It was almost like I floated out. I didn't go into the bathroom like last time either or anywhere in our house. I had set the intention to see a significant past life and the first thing I remember was the inside of a building.
The interior had a lot of ornate details on the ceiling and walls (similar to below) and also colorful furniture. The colors were vibrant blue and there was gold inlay. The furniture was against the wall and the room I was in was large and the middle of the room was empty. It felt like a receiving room or a parlor and I was the only one in there. It seemed a long time ago, but not biblical or medieval, and the designs reminded me at first of the middle east or mediterranean. The other specific pattern I noticed was teal paisley with a white background. This seemed to be a focal point in the room and I'm curious if after researching that more if I will find it points to a certain time or place in history. I also remember a mosaic with dolphins and that might have a similar meaning to the paisley pattern- having to do with fish or water, or certain mythology- I'm not quite sure.
I also received the word Crimea during the experience which ended up important for my understanding of this time period and what I was shown. "In the 6th to 5th centuries BC, the Greeks ventured out to develop Crimean coastal areas. They built port cities, which eventually gave rise to two independent states — the democratic republic of Tauric Chersonesos and the Bosporus State. The Greeks brought winemaking, shipbuilding, architecture and their own culture replete with temples, theatres and stadiums."
This also fits with the way women were dressed which made me think of ancient Greece. After the OBE I looked up pictures and learned that the type of clothing that I saw on women was probably a chiton. There was a layer of white fabric draped like a gown and then a layer of colorful fabric draped on top of that. It didn't seem formal. I had a function, but I don't know exactly what it was and I don't recall my name. It was almost like I could feel the soul essence of me during that time while still being me during this current time if that makes sense. Maybe every OBE experience adds a bit more to that remembering and takes time to integrate.
The building I was in reminded me of a compound and it was shaped like a square with a large courtyard or open space in the middle. I also remember some of the outside areas of the structure- there were large columns and a portico or colonnade where people walked. I saw that this building was sort of in a fortress or looked like a citadel around this building and the whole town.
Maybe it was an intellectual community or a place to learn a skill. It didn't seem that we were trapped there and it felt like we had authority to do what we wanted. Almost like we were in our own bubble...that this was our world and we didn't go outside the walls or the city. I only saw women in the building. I'm not sure if men also lived there, but we didn't seem to interact in the common areas. I also saw a woman that I know in this life in the hallway. She looked a little different and I remember that she was very tall. I thought Amazon- I didn't receive this as a message, but it was just a thought of how to explain her size. I did get one more name or word- Hestia. That could have to do with the time period and that she was worshipped as a goddess during that time.
I'm going to look for some visuals and I'm sure some more details will come in. For now, I've landed on this being an Ancient Greek colony about 600-500 BC, but not in Greece itself (the other side of what is now the Black Sea).
Like in OBE #2 I wore my Oura ring to track my sleep and heart rate and I had a gap with no reading of heart rate or HRV for about a half hour at 2 AM. I recently shared this as a testimonial below. That seems to confirm (at least for me) that my heart rate goes below 33 bpm when I'm out of body. I'll keep track in future any OBEs just for more confirmation. I didn't feel as burnt out after this one. I was out of body a shorter period of time so maybe it didn't affect me as much physically. I still got a good deal of information from the experience and am looking forward to connecting more dots.
